Kazi Nazrul Islam Mahavidyalaya Central library was started functioning in the year 1982. The library supports the educational and research needs of the academic community of the College. The Library possesses a rich collection of books about 13,655 (including reference books) and more than 20 printed journals and 3 newspapers. It is situated at the first floor of the college building. It has two main sections, i.e. Reading Room and Library stack and Lending Section. The Library is under CCTV surveillance which ensures security to its resources. The Library provides services to students, faculty members and staff. The Central Library has been partly computerized using integrated library management software SOUL 2.0. The College Library uses Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme (23rd edition) for classifying the documents.
