Though our Geography department has no so long history but has a proud and successful history. Location of the Geography department as well as college is economically and geographically backward where socially vulnerable groups exist, there our department is giving the opportunities of quality education to the students who are from this background of first-generation learner. The Department of Geography, Kazi Nazrul Islam Mahavidyalaya started its humble beginning in the year 2007 and offering only General Course and from 2010 Honours Course started. Our department is also helping to shape the college which is today along with other departments.
